Rock of London - Shoreditch, E2

Rock of London is a large recording studio complex in the heart of Shoreditch with the most desirable gear list on the Amati roster. The owner (one of the country's leading pedal steel players) has operated a recording studio in Hoxton since 1981, and has over the last 3 decades built a reputation for providing superb sonic results at a recording studio in London.

Studio A has a large live space with varied textures and wall surfaces and a control room kitted out with an incredible array of vintage and modern classic outboard gear, plus a fantastic range of microphones including a Neumann M147 tube mic and the legendary Sony C800G. Add to this the huge array of guitars and instruments and the result is an extremely desirable studio.

Studio B, also known as "The Neve Room" houses a Neve 66 model desk and Neve comps and gates, along with ATC monitors in a tuned control room. It will have 16 tie lines to the tracking control room and large live room as well as 16 lines to its own smaller overdub room, which is large enough to record drums in.

With two control rooms and two live spaces that are all inter-connected, Rock of London provides a huge amount of flexibility when it comes to recording. The complex has to be heard to be believed, and is undeniably one of the finest studios in London for the price.
